For the Technology Strategy Board’s initiative ‘Retrofit For The Future’, Stormking are able to offer the client a GRP ‘bolt-on’ window head, string course and cill system. This will allow the external walls of old housing stock to be insulated, boarded, brickslipped or rendered and then Stormking products to be clipped on afterwards, and therefore reducing carbon emmissions and not losing the ascestic look of the orginal building.
The Stormking GRP KlipWINDOWHEAD, GRP STRING COURSE and GRP KlipCILL systems are manufactured using the latest R.T.M. vacuum assisted technology.It extremely robust and durable and is completely finished with a reproduction stone appearance. They are designed to be faced fixed, using all weather adhesive, after brick and render work has been completed and they are suitable for all weather site working and for all types of construction. A truly long life, cost effective alternative to real stone, with the main benefits of a lightweight product, which is easy to handle and install. It allows for one person in a quick and simple process to complete installation and ease health and safety issues.
