All Stormking products have been designed and engineered by our in-house team of technical experts, drawing from over three decades of experience in supplying the building sector.
Stormking are the only manufacturers who use Resin Transfer Moulding (RTM) techniques in the manufacture of most of our entrance door canopies. RTM gives a higher quality finish, is safer to handle on site and better for the environment.
Our standard GRP entrance door canopies can be manufactured up to 5m long and with a 1.5m projection. Larger sizes can be bolted together on site, as required.
The ‘Building Research Establishment’ (BRE) carried out an investigation in 2003 (IP 10/03) to establish the durability of GRP and concluded that service lives of 60 to 100 years can be obtained.
