Stormking provide a large range of off-site manufactured GRP building components, delivered free* to your building site, when you need them.
Many of our products are BBA Certified, allowing you to have the confidence our products are independently assessed to meet current building regulations and controls.

Stormking are the only manufacturer who have obtained BBA Certification, this is the only independent accreditation to satisfy current Building Regulations.
The current independent research established the durability of GRP products to be in excess of 50 years.
Stormking only use the finest pigment additives and coatings, like all external finishes they will be affected by weathering and ultra-violet rays. Over a long period of time this will cause some slight fading on the areas exposed to the sunlight. With minimal care and maintenance GRP products will remain in pristine condition for many years.
Stormking’s range of StormDoors – GRP bin store doors, either single or double, are made from robust Glass Reinforced Plastic (GRP) and offer a long lasting maintenance free product.
All Stormking StormDoors are made to measure, to the customers specification, ensuring they will fit exactly into the door way opening. They are supplied as complete units and can be quickly and inexpensively installed.
The ‘Building Research Establishment’ (BRE) carried out an investigation in 2003 (IP 10/03) to establish the durability of GRP and concluded that service lives of 60 to 100 years can be obtained.
Stormking provide a range of optional extras to add to your StormDoor, including locks, hinges, ironmongery and aluminium louvres or vents.

All Stormking GRP Kneelers are made to be part of a door head or door canopy design. In certain circumstances GRP Kneelers can be ordered separately to update an existing product, as they can be manufactured in any colour in the RAL Colour Palette**.
No, our range of brackets and GRP Kneelers are not structurally supporting items, they are only used for decorative purposes, as all Stormking wall mounted products have been designed to be self-supporting.

We only use a sprayed foam insulation which provides a range of ‘U’ values, we can design the internal structure to suit the value that you require. Choosing our WARMADORMA© design will provide ‘U’ values and Psi values for the highest Code levels.
Every Stormking Dormer includes sacrificial lifting beams, by using a telly hoist or forklift the roofs can be transported and installed easily on site.
Stormkings WARMADORMA© range of dormers have been manufactured to be increasingly thermally efficent. This is supported through our BBA Accreditation, available to view/download in the Tech Hub area.
Stormking are the only manufacturers who use Resin Transfer Moulding (RTM) techniques in the manufacture of most of our entrance door canopies. RTM gives a higher quality finish, is safer to handle on-site and better for the environment.

GRP finials are available in a small range of colours. Stormking GRP finials are not sold separately.

Stormking takes great care and time over colour matching the chimney’s brick colour and pattern to match the houses existing brick pattern. Special pigments are used, as well as obtaining sample bricks from either the brick manufacturer or from the building site, to make sure the GRP chimney looks as realistic as possible.
All Stormking’s SmartStack chimneys come completely assembled and include all abutment and lead apron flashings. SmartStacks are simply the easiest chimney to install and will not leak!

As the complete GRP Substation Roof unit is manufactured off-site and delivered when you require it, this means that it is not only cost effective, but also saves your on-site workforce time and material resources, making the process as efficient as possible.
Every Stormking GRP Substation Roof is fast and easy to install on-site, as the roof is one complete component, which includes removeable lifting eyebolts, allowing it to be easily craned into position.
